IF YOU ARE RETIRED, YOU CAN SPARE A COUPLE OF HOURS A MONTH
THERE ARE 29,208 REGISTERED VOTERS IN SAN BENITO COUNTY
IT TAKES JUST THREE OF YOU TO STOP THESE INCREASES!
Are you happy with San Benito County roads? Or schools? How about health care? Law enforcement? Job opportunities? Water? Taxes?You can change the way things are done in San Benito County. Of course we need to have a choice when we vote. Those of you who are still commuting and working long hours may find it difficult to take on an elected office. I encourage those of you who are retired to think seriously about running for office.
If you live in Supervisor Districts 2, 3 or 5 (your current supervisor is Anthony Botelho, Robert Rivas, or Jamie De La Cruz), you can run for the San Benito County Water District board in 2020. But other agencies are also important – from school boards and local water agencies on up to the Board of Supervisors. I urge you to join me in participating in your county government.
